It is something I "wanted" for my type set, thoughts on whether I got a good deal?

Did you look up the value listed on the PCGS web site? It might be a little high, listed there, but still interesting to hear what they place the value on it.

Anyone that has a grey sheet to look up the value of it?

It would be interesting to compare both prices.

Nice coin, looks like you got it at a fair price. I'd say you did OK...

You did really good! Ask in GreySheet is $79 and this is an OGH which always brings more interest.

You did just fine with the coin and the price. PCGS original green holders are considered the most consistently accurately graded coins of that service and are popular with collectors.

Thanks everyone, it was one of those moments where there were two minutes left and I thought the price looked low, didn't do my research but I guess I did fine

I am one that don't think you got a deal but I don't think you to much either, I think you paid what it is worth. This is a green label but its not a first gen PCGS slab so these don't have new collectors thinking they may be an upgrade in them like the first generation slabs do. The experienced collectors know that most that would upgrade has been done so now so it is very hard to get a old PCGS slabbed coin that will upgrade if sent in now. There are some out there but you have to be very good at grading yourself to find them because you will look at 2000 coins before you find 1 that may upgrade. Its very hard to find an upgrade by pictures also so chances of getting one on ebay or other online sites is pretty hard. I have actually seen more that was very lucky to receive the grade it had in my opinion than ones that would be a lock for an upgrade
