After long waiting, recently I got the shipment from Gatewest for my order of group 7 with big box. I am supervised to see there was no big box included. I called the dealer right away and they said they are going to ship the box later (the reason behind is that the mint can not accept the quality of the box and asked the manufacturer to reproduce it?) I wonder how many of you luckily got the box recently from Gatewest? Thank you!

I got both of my display boxes directly from the mint. If they have held them up to make sure of the quality, you can appreciate it. I'm not a fan of the coins that come individually in the clam-shell type boxes - I have the coins elsewhere, and simply stash the clam-shell boxes in storage, however, the Group of 7 boxes are very nice, as are the Chinese 'lunar' series - they are simply beautiful. If you have been told they are coming - they are worth the wait.

I got my box from the mint. Overall it is nice. A small complaint I have is that *some* slots for the COA are a little bit too small, so the COA is not flat when inserted. Please note that I said *some* slots, because I tried inserting a COA into each slot and only a few won't fit. I am curious though, where was the box being made? I hope it is not "Made in China".

I received my box from Gatewest long ago, a few weeks after I ordered it when the second coin was released, so it came with the first and second coin. At that time I know there was a lot of people who ordered it as well, A few of the first to order have received it, but many others have received the same from GW: their coins without the box, with a paper telling they will ship the box when they receive it from the Mint. I like the box very much. The series is not a hit right now but I like them.

Thank you guys for hands up. Now it seems I have to wait patiently. According to what I know (through my conversation with GW), the box is made in China and delivery is though ocean shipping. It might explain why it takes such a long time especially the back and forth between the mint and manufacturer. To be honest, I was not really fond of the series until the 2nd was released. Now I place the three coins side by side...wow...what a beautiful collection!

I just got my box from Gatewest today. I was worried when they sent the coins a while ago with no box and a note saying they would ship the box when they receive it. True to their word, it arrived today. The case really is quite impressive. ...Scotty
