No Hope is correct and we have never punished people who live in foreign lands - just ask crz3by.
Every year his packages get delayed getting to him as have some of the packages going to the Mideast and Europe.

This is a holiday gift exchange try to keep the spirit of the holidays
Whatever holiday you celebrate.

rggoodie,
I know in the past packages have been lost with over seas shipping.
I was wondering if you have considered keeping groups of members by region when picking secret santas,
like eastern hemisphere and western hemisphere.
Although I do realize a big part of the fun is connecting with someone from far away lands.
Just throwing an idea out there. (one I don't necessarily promote)

Thanks, Hope! I love my little collection, but it's easy to get self-conscious when someone posts a gorgeous MS and then tells you they casually dropped your entire paycheque on it. :S

I think it's always fun to get mail from overseas. Starting with an envelope and stamps.

While I've had problems sending bigger packages abroad sending a couple of coins (small padded envelope) never was an issue. Oftentimes recipients in Australia and Europe got stuff sooner than ones in Canada.

@Svslav

Of course they do... We Canadians get to deal with the monster that is Canadian Post.....

For example, a next day delivery took 3 days... and it was only a 3 hour drive!

I don't understand how they are that bad...

Knowing Canada Post, it was probably extremely expensive to send as well.

Question for rggoodie:

What happens if we end up with an odd number of participants?

easy, we dont send to the same people we get from. Therefore, the number of participants doesn't matter!

I never have to do that.
The Missus calls me it often enough so I don't forget
