I use them to store rolls that I am saving.

The quarter box is just the right size for a 9mm :)

As organizers in my larger boxes. You can make dividers, you can keep the boxes whole and store stuff in them, like little compartments. Lots of ways to keep using them.

The penny boxes are a perfect fit for storing CoinSafe square penny storage tubes. The box only fits 32 of them, but I can't argue about the cost of the box.

I reroll the coins and put them back in the box to be sent to the bank whenever I get the chance. I thought everyone did this as well.

Some might, personally, I just take $500 bags of loose and exchange for cash. The tellers have to unwrap rolled coin and bag it up anyway, before it gets shipped put to be re-rolled. I've never counted individual coins in at least $150,000 that I've searched, and never had a problem. This won't work for everyone. Nothing wrong with your method.

Flatten 'em, stack 'em, ziptie them together, then burn the whole pile when the time comes. I do a lot per week, so they add up in a hurry.

I usually recycle them or use them to start the fire pit.

I get my coins in rolls, but the rolls come in plastic bags, secured with a bit of metal wire at the top, so sadly I don't get all the great boxes...I would like them though, to store coins, and to ship things on ebay, as I sell a lot of stuff (not coins) on ebay. Sadly, my plastic bags end up in the landfill, but the tiny bit of metal at the top gets recycled!

I live in the UK, so I havent ever seen one in person - but those holes look perfect for small furry pets.
