RomanianPicker - I have seen this coin recently and it's definitely on my "Want List." You got a 20 pound coin for 20 pounds, now that's a good deal! This coin does a great job of documenting the queens' official likeness throughout her reign, from the time she was just a young girl, to the present where she has become the longest living monarch. I always liked her youngest pose. When you think of everything that's happened during her reign, she's done amazing things, and been through a lot, during her rule. Anyway, super nice coins to add to your British collection. There are many others on this forum who also collect British/UK coins. You're going to have a great time on CCF. God save the Queen! Jack

I am very happy that I found such a well organized forum. I collect only english coins by type and year and most of them are from car boots and change but I also buy from ebay when I see something that I am interested in.

A recent purchase, a 1918 KN penny, not only is a in a better grade than normal, but it also has the 'bird's foot flaw' as mentioned in Peck.

Looks better than those pictures the seller posted that I put up on PD, right? Happier when I received it, and I was pretty happy when I bought it anyway!

UKPennyHunter, I like your web site very much.
Are you planning to collect different combinations of dies for each date ?
The 1918KN looks too good to be true. I hope you bought it from a reputable source.
