I just got this 2009 silver coin,look the picture, I feel it's burned/damaged by heat while the seller insist this is a natual toning on silver coin.
what you guys think? any comments will be appreciated

3 years? Natural toning isn't going to do that unless it was stored really badly. It looks like its been out in a flame, could be chemically caused.

Dont take my word, there are better experts on coin toning and stuff, they'll weigh in. My 2 pence is that this is too extensive to be done in 3 years.

That seems pretty harsh to have happened that quickly without someone doing something to try and speed up the toning like leaving that part in the sun all day and even then that might be a stretch

Looks like heat but what does the other side look like. Heat will transfer to the other side very quickly and cause discoloration there too.
Looks like the rim is not colored. look for polishing on it and the edges. Did you pay a premium for it?
