Dear people,
Ive got this coin in my collection. And it seems that this is a mistake concerns. The D of Denver is in fact not a normal D. And it looks like a wrap to go? However I'm not sure here and ask you for advice. Same as the N or CENTS Seems to be interrupted.
I hope you can help me with this

to CCF. If you can post a photo of the coin in question that would be a big help to us. John1

2 different D mint 5 coins were minted. One being copper/nic & the other 35% silver. The silver has a lg. mintmark above the dome on rev. Still like to see ito

It could be a well placed die chip.

I first thought S also. Why not ? Would be a new one. Long shot, D over RPM S :)

The D/horiz.D is RPM-001, or FS-05-1942D-512 (027) These are more indicative of that particular piece. There are at least a dozen "S" RPMs, but no D/S or S/D. I'm leaning toward the chip theory.Perhaps the lack of the north bar. Very neat, though.

I'm thinking PMD on both accounts.
