I have not seen many 2011 pennys in circulation as yet, I have received all of 10 in change so far, out of those 10 2 look like this.

This will be the best I can do photo wise, if this is what I beleive it is, I'd like to know if anyone else has found it yet.

I can't tell for sure? It looks like more than one light source? That will make a normal coin look like a doubled die.

Coop I'm almost positive this is a DDO looking at the thickness in areas. Even with numerous light sources it wont make numbers and letters thicker. It would just make MDs or DDDs look like DDOs. The 0 and 1s show of a definite Doubled die. If you look at the thickness in the 0 the top right and bottom left points DOubled die and the 1s how they are pointed rather than flat also points DDO. When I look at the 2 it seems to match Coppercoins DDO.

The light source is all around, from a cheap mircoscope. I just found my third one like this, it was not from change but from a bank box of plastic wrap coins I have been going through off and on. there in doubling on "in god we trust" as well as liberty. I intend to send one of the three to have it certified!

For future references take photos of coin with one light source only. I cant really tell what I see due to light sources in the word GOD. But even though numerous light souces are hitting the date I can tell due to the thickness of the numbers in certain areas.

Looks like a class 9 DDO to me. Here is a 2006 that looks similar http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/dies...ie_state=mds
Congrats on your find.I would not send it to a TPG but I would send it to coppercoins.com. The fee for a TPG would not justify the value of the DDO,IMHO.

Ive found one of these as well. It is considered the "big one" for 2011. I'm outside of Orlando. What state are you in?
