I love going through old treasures in my closet and desk drawers. Today just happened to be the drawer of envelopes, which included this beauty! A St. Nick's Day stocking-stuffer from a few years ago. Rare, absolutely not. An everyday wallet find? Not a chance. I'm pretty sure this came right from the bank, but I'd still like the community's opinion on a formal grade, so grade away!

Grade-It!--1976-US-$2

(Edit Note: Scanned by an Epson NX110 series printer/scanner. Also, the "smart" scanner function chopped off some of the less pronounced edges of the note. Rest assured, it's all completely intact).

My understanding is that, unlike coins, there are some grading elements to currency that never be conveyed in a photograph, but can only be appreciated with a note in hand. And that's why there are so many more "grade this!" threads on the coin forums.
