Hi team I am new here.
I have no idea where in nz I can get a coin graded.
Can you have a look for me and give me some ideas please.
I am going to be selling it but thats hard to do if I dont have some idea of its value.

For starters look to Coins and Canada for information about the silver Canadian quarter you have there.

if you aren't hurting for the cash, hang on to it.

Wow,thanks for the quick replies team.I have been cruising these forums for a while bt never bothered to sign up.I know the pics are not that flattering.It is not a bad coin to look at,even with all the tarnish.I was just curious about the wear.It seem to have very little.I have started collecting just recently and it is going to take some time and a few more choice and rubbish coins before I can get a grasp on the grading side.I hope you all dont mind if I trouble you for your expertise every once and a while:)

Thankls for the link argentum.It may well be worth a few dollars.Of the 2 coins that year it appears I got the better one as I dont have the Heaton mint mark.I am glad I forked out the 50cents for it

If you are in Auckland or Wellington there are dealers you could take it to but its unliley they would give you very much at all. Your best bet would be ebay.
