Thank you, GLB and jbuck! By the way, how is your eye, GLB?

Quote: By the way, how is your eye, GLB? Thank you for asking, Hondo. The surgery went very well. I took the right lens out of my glasses and I can see better than I ever have. The left eye will be done on 1/18 and then no more glasses.

Fantastic, GLB! The first thing I noticed was that I could see colors again! I hadn't realized how much of that had gone away (with the other 80%), but all is well now.

I sold the vast majority of my stash a couple years ago, but with recent circumstances and the run-up on PMs, I decided to get back in. Here is a portion of my purchases the weekend before last when silver was only $61.87/ozt. Just the sound of moving these around makes me smile.

Thank you, jbuck and Hondo Boguss. Everything is brighter and more colorful. You were right, Hondo, I can't wait for 1/18 to get the left eye done.

Excellent purchase, spru. That is my all-time favorite coin.

Quote: I posted this elsewhere, but it belongs here, too, because it was my desire to add some gold to my stash that really got the ball rolling. Fantastic!

LCS had a couple commemorative silver dollars listed for $37 each. I asked if the posted prices were operative. He said no, but later changed his mind. Picked up a 1983 olympic discus thrower and 1987 Constitution.

Picked up some more Maples and "not shown" ASE's. I also have OTW 10 oz of a 1st time customer pack "I love them 1st time buyer specials" or 5 1oz slabs and 5 1oz rounds from Bullion Express. I got locked in at spot at the time of $71. I'm slowing down some but am keeping on with the buying since my instincts scream "higher prices" in the future. I believe silver will reach 3 digits in 2026.
