bird...chick.. the Queen, as opposed to the foul on the side which says "CANADA DOLLAR"

Confirmed I have a box of small dollars coming in some time this week, no idea why they had to see if there was enough to order one, maybe people have been getting lots from Loomis lately looking for recent Pre$?

Went through 5 rolls of small dollars this afternoon. There were 4 SBA's and the rest were all Sac's and non NIFC president's. Nothing I needed.

Got another $200 in bank rolls today. Found a 2012- D Coolidge Presidential dollar I needed and 2001-s Sac. that was well worn. No other dollar coins that were minted after 2011 and nothing else I needed.

From my bank, picked up small dollars and half dollars for use with Project 100K.

From the rolls of small dollar coins:
877 were Pre$
358 were SAC$/NA$ with one impaired proof
115 were SBA$ with one impaired proof

Nothing special in the box of dollars except a few NIFC Grovers and a 2000 Bermuda ONE DOLLAR. Weird that it is both reeded and not. Never seen that from a coin before.

I received a 2001-S Sacagawea proof from a lot of dollar coins I bought from a bank today. It was quite impaired, so it must've been through some circulation since it was disinterred from the proof set.

Also, this was my first Sacagawea proof find.

I had never heard of the Presidential dollars until the other day. I went in asking for halves or "large dollars" but all she had was presidential. Ended up getting $50 worth but not sure what I'm looking for. I just have a jar I'm filling with halves and dollar coins. No luck on any Ike's at the bank though, must be getting harder to find..

picked up some loose Susan Bs yesterday. I got a 80p and an 80s and a 99p, and the rest were all 1979s.

How hard is it to find 1981 coins? I had one teller edge searching her dollar tray pulling the Susans out from in between the gold dollars. I think I will spend the 1979s but keep the rest that I find.

Not sure what we are listing but finds in our small dollar hunting.I been searching a hot min and out of around $3000 worth of looking I have 8 1979 SBA wide rims . 5 proofs one presidential and rest sacagawea and native dollars. I have found a few die cracks on Presidential dollars and 1 I repeat 1 George Washington missing edge lettering and 1 I repeat was misaligned edge lettering. Its a lot of coins to go through. About to go through a new box of $1000 james monroe dollars uncirculated mint rolls got from the bank.

Oh and skibDib when I get a box of 1000 and they are mixed I get about 5-7 rolls of SBA. All together out of the 40 rolls in the box.and 90% of those are all 1979 hope that gives you an idea

thanks tweak for the info. I just checked the 1979 coins for wide rims, but they were all normal. Gonna spend these.

Thanks,

Went through my presidential coins today (about $100 worth). Got a Ben Harrison, Chester Arthur, Will McKinley, Theo Roosevelt, Taft, and Woodrow Wilson (all P mark). They certainly aren't rare but I think they were made as proofs only. I also took the best looking of each prez coin to throw in cardboard and put in my book (because why not?). I think I'm addicted to coin collecting!
