From a bunch of dollar coins, I found a 2002-S Sacagawea proof. This is my fourth dollar coin proof I've ever found in circulation, after a 2001-S Sacagawea, 2008-S Monroe, and a 2005-S Sacagawea.

I was going to try to get a roll or two to search, but the bank that I tried didn't have any rolls. They just had two loose ones in one of the tellers drawers one 1979 and Washington that was in pretty bad shape.

I'm getting shorted left and right this week. First 2 boxes of halves had several short rolls. Then I go to my main Chase bank that I even bought pizza for yesterday and they had some dollar coins in a tellers tray and some rolls. I got $137 in dollar coins. I get $12 from the tray and one of them is another Loonie. Then 4 out of 5 of the rolls are CWR. And in one of them is a gold plated quarter. Shorted again The Mint roll was all UNC 2000 D.

Ouch. The gold plated quarter means they put an SBA in their quarter roll.

Not sure if it counts as hardcore dollar searching, but I asked for 5 at the bank to give my daughter for her piggy bank and I got a JFK in the mix. I guess she's only getting 4 for now.

Thanks for the list to look for. I will post my results when I pick up a box at my bank.

I'm not a regular dollar roll searcher, but I like to spend small dollars so I sometimes ask for a roll when I'm getting cash at the bank. On my own small scale, I was once surprised to find three SBAs in the same roll, evenly spaced, with P,D, and S mint marks. That's my dollar CRH story for the week.

It was a while ago, but I remember getting 7 CRW rolls of Half Dollars and noticed that some of the rolls were different. so I look at the end and I saw a SAC and I was like so I open up the roll and they were All Dollar coins. The next day I returned them. But I do remember one of the SBA was an S Mint Mark

Interesting link, 143Paul, thank you for sharing. For what it is worth, I have never come across any of these dollars, but I have heard the jukebox story many times.
