I think mint rolls bring a premium. I've been saving all mint rolls (unopened)! GW is probably a good mint roll to save.

I picked up my second box of 1000 small dollars today. I'm hoping for my first wounded eagles and first wide rims. I have plenty of NIFC. I'll also hope for 1999-P's, 1980-S's, and my first 81's! Maybe a missing rim lettering Pres too!

I finally found my first 79-P near date in a marked roll that I picked up 10 minutes before the bank closed on Saturday. When I saw the "X' on the roll, I was a little deflated. When I found the near date, I thought it was my imagination. But, it is the real deal. I am really psyched to search the $1000 box now!

I'm on a roll (literally)! I found two more near dates in the first 20 rolls of the new box. One roll produced a nice Millard Fillmore proof and one of the two 79-P near dates. I also plucked out a few NIFC's, a 80-S, and a 99-P. This makes me wonder how many coins I missed in my first box. I have a pretty good handle on SBAs and Sac Dollars. But, I feel like I'm missing presidential keepers. The Proof is the only presidential keeper I've recognized. I'm checking for missing lettering, etc. I guess this is a work in progress.

If you're not already, keep your eye out for missing or weak edge lettering on the Native American and Presidential dollars.

I'm probably leaving some weak lettering coins behind. I usually see weak lettering on relatively worn (mid-grade) coins. So, I am attributing the weak lettering to overall wear. I probably need to see some good examples so I know how to judge "weak" lettering.

I went last Thursday to my bank to pickup more small dollar coins, and this should last me for the rest of the year
These weren't wrapped at the bank, but they came wrapped from their regional supplier.

From 2000 small dollar coins:
1416 Pre$, 455 SAC$, 128 SBA$, and 1 Canadian Dollar
wasn't anything of interest
