I did find a 1981-D and a 1981-S proof SBA dollar in a teller tray the day before yesterday, does that count?
Yes! Nice finds!

For the first time ever, I bought a $1,000 box of Dollar coins and opened all 40 rolls. Here are the notable finds:

1x 2020-P Connecticut Innovation Dollar (my first ever Innovation Dollar found)

71x Gerald Ford Presidential dollars (70 were 2016-P and there was a lone 2016-D; I think this was a collection dump from someone)
2x 2015-P JFK Presidential dollars
1x 2014-P FDR Presidential dollar
1x 2013-D William Howard Taft Presidential dollar
1x 2012-P Grover Cleveland (First Term) Presidential dollar

1x 2015-P Native American dollar
1x 2013-P Native American dollar
1x 2012-P Native American dollar
1x 2005-P Sacagawea dollar (filling in a hole in a 2000-2008 Sacagawea dollar folder I'm building)
1x 2004-D Sacagawea dollar

For foreign coins:
3x UK Two Pence coins
1x Canadian Loonie
1x East Caribbean States Dollar

Other coins:
4x Shell Apollo and Gemini mission tokens from the 1960s.

I now have a large enough stash of Dollar coins to last me the rest of the year. At least I won't have to hit up banks every week to get my fill of them for a while.

Got a proof 2007 Jefferson presidential, a 1980 SBA, and a 1999 SBA, as well as a pretty worn Sacagawea dollar that looked like it was someone's pocket piece for a while.

Nice finds!

Continue the work and make that dollar your own pocket piece.

My bank wont get me boxes of coins like I see on Youtube but they will get a box of dollars and let me go through them ( with no up front cost ). And the dollar coins they get are fantastic !!! There are always some BU gold dollars , sometimes Innovation , sometimes it's older stuff. I recently got a roll of BU 2000 P Sac. that had been sitting so long that the edges were brown and the coin surfaces were like mirrors. This time it was alot of SBA's .

Nice link there John1! Thanks! I don't intentionally collect the Modern small dollars but, somehow they do find their way to my other collections.

Fun trivia. A lot of the SBA dollar coins ended up as subway tokens in Baltimore.

Small Dollar roll searching has normally not been my thing, but one of my local banks had $349 in them in early January, including one roll of SBAs... I took all of them as I noticed right away three of the rolls were mint wrapped (more on those below), and six were BU sets/rolls in Littleton plastic tubes. Those turned out to be: 2009-2015 P or D Mint Native American, a 2007-2012 24 coin set, and rolls of Cleveland I, Cleveland II, Harrison, and Arthur.

The other four rolls were all common-date (2007-2009 dated coins in String and Sons paper) which basically sell for $30 on ebay (not worth the effort when you factor in fees, so those went to another branch as a $100 deposit)...

The SBAs had one good coin - an impaired proof 1979-S!

The mint-wrapped rolls were better dates - 2013-D (McKinley), 2014-D (Native American), and, best of all, 2014-D (Harding)!

These three rolls sell for a good premium on ebay ($40-$45 for the first two, $70-$75 for the Harding)... The Littleton sets sell for about $35-40 or so.

So, my first experience with buying small dollar coins turned out to be a decent one.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

From a roll of 25, I found a very nice 2007-P Sacagawea dollar for my folder and a 2012-P Benjamin Harrison dollar I will exchange with a friend of mine in December, for the Holidays.
