I believe it would come back in a details grade as I have seen similar rim dings on Morgans and they have all been graded this way. This really doesn't matter because if you are planning on selling the coin authentication would be the key thing to have on any Trade dollar. I would usually say a coin in this condition would not be worth getting graded and I really stand by this unless its a Trade dollar that is planned on being put on the market (If you are going to keep it no need for grading). The Trade dollars are so highly counterfeited there are only a small portion of collectors that are willing to take the chance on raw examples unless they are fairly good at spotting counterfeits (which I don't see anything that would make me think this one is) so authentication is key even if it does come back as damaged on Trade dollars you are planning on selling

If the coin is authentic, and you would like to sell it - there's no doubt you should slab it.

On ebay, buyers would pay less for raw coins to compensate for the risk of them not being authentic.

I'd send it to ANACS and then sell it.

A decent coin for a type set and I do not see anything in the photos that would make me believe it is counterfeit.
