The dine is an off-center strike only if BOTH sides are off, if just the obverse is off, then it's a misaligned die (MAD). MAD dimes are fairly common but I keep them because I keep everything. Yours is pretty easy to see so while it may have no premium value it is cool. Hope the counter bag has some goodies! Report this Post to the Staff

Buddy Rest in Peace United States 7075 Posts	Posted 12/11/2012 6:13 pm I can't tell from the photos what the lines on the '46 are. If it looks like wood grain, it's a woody.
