I found this 1943 steel cent in my grandfather's collection. There's two clashes running along Lincoln's face from where his lips end. Any thoughts about this error?

I'll do my best to take some pictures as soon as possible. Hope to get them on here within the next hour or so. It was easier with my Ipod at the time to take these.

Well, I guess I will keep looking. I've asked the local bank to keep any unusual coins and silver dollars they find for a trade.

"Why so serious?" Looks like The Joker got ahold of that one. Just PMD.

Is your color off or do you have a 1943 copper cent?

I think my coloring is off. The coin is silver, but where the right arrow end in the first picture, I think there was a slight visible trace of copper. I'm not with my coins right now, but I'll take a closer look tomorrow.
