I used to do roll hunting when I was a kid, with the old pre decimal coins.
There are a few roll hunters of the decimal series.
My approach is a little different, with a different intended outcome.

I just save any commemorative coin from circulation.
When I have about $500 worth, I will do a comparative population count, and post the results here in the CCF.
I will take out a double set of every type in best condition, with all varieties I have found, and spend the remaining coins on fuel.
That is one way to keep your numismatic interests going.

At least I will be able to kid myself that I can run my car for free for a few weeks!
