No uniface strikes are not impossible, just very unlikely, and this piece does have some of the characteristics I would expect to see in a uniface strike. The one thing that bothers me is I would not expect the ghost image of the reverse to be that strong on a uniface. On a late stage capped die strike yes, but the coin doesn't really look like a late stage capped die strike either. I'm not sure which one it is. Report this Post to the Staff
