I have found a few 1964 and 1964-D silver half dollars in rolls or loose coins obtained at face value from banks and this one was especially nice. It was in a hand-wrapped roll along with circulated coins including ordinary clad
Kennedy halves and a few worn silver Franklins.
I suspect the mark by Kennedy's nose is a deal-breaker but otherwise I think this half is a near-gem. Luster is very strong and I see no trace of wear. Other than the scattered contact marks (much more obvious in the photos than in-hand) there are no defects. How would CCF members grade this coin?
