There is a lot of meat on that coin. The details look AU+ easy. Sure there may be some issues but being happy with the piece is the main thing. It is an O over O... Not the most pronounced version I have seen but still there. Will someone please tell me what you would have payed for her? I need a little reassurance here...

That's what I saw too! The O/O mintmark. What is going on between the mintmark(s) and DIME?
I would say $65. She is a nice looking dime too!

I love your coin and I love the color on the reverse but my VERY amateur opinion says the scratches to the mirror on the obverse coupled with the gouge between the mint mark and DIME on the reverse take a seemingly XF45 coin and offer it a details grade down towards VF level money. But who cares what you paid...you LOVE it and that is what matters. |

Look at it this way. If it was problem-free and certified AU it would be worth about $600. The max should be about $150 to someone who really wants it. It's interesting looking at auction results for this date. They blow the price guide (PCGS!) away in all higher circulated grades (VF to AU). |

Net grade of VF sounds about right; EF details, cleaned, artificially toned. $65 or so is a reasonable price considering the issues.
