Just checked the US Mint website and as of now, only the 2012-S Acadia Roll (PL5) & Denali Roll (PL9) in business strikes are available in the "s"s. All other business strike "s"s are now sold out. So much for being available for one year from first release. I agree that low mintages should make them very desirable.

Anybody think if these mintage figures are going to be a new normal and not have any price uptick potential or if there is actually going to be some potential.

I'm real glad that I was able to pick up what I did when I did and not procrastinate.

I think these guys are going to command a bit of a premium but nothing to retire on, especially if you are like me and only got one roll of each.

I was lucky and ordered the last 4 S rolls of 2012 2 nights ago before Chaco and Hawaii disappeared.

I'm surprised Acadia hasn't sold out too.

How about $169 + $5.25 shipping for 1 bag & 1 roll of El Yunque, 2012-S (PL-0 & PL-1) on ebay this morning. ebay Item number: 160953627746. Are these the price levels we can expect for the ones "Sold-out"?

Its hard to say, they just went off the market and its the first year so they could just be having the initial bump that will settle back down. The 2010 pucks had a huge premium initially, they still carry a good premium but its no where close to what it was at first

If the "S" circulation-finish Quarters continue on to 2021, the 2012's will be the keys.

It is also very likely subsequent "S" circulation-finish Quarters will be more than 1.67 million mintage each, because it is rumored they will be included in the upcoming Circulated Coin Sets.

These are the lowest minted quarters since 1932.

Is this just for the circulated sets or are they thinking of putting them in the mint set as well?

I can't imagine that they would fit in the Mint set as it is without either changing the dimensions of the current product or more likely, adding a third folder to the P & D folders. Not likely for just five quarters unless the Mint came up with a brilliant idea and decided to mint the other 9 coins as S NCLT... What DNA is talking about is the circulating coin set that's currently selling for $5.95/a pop. Adding 5 more quarters probably increases the price to. $8.95.

Probably there way of trying to increase the circulated coin sales so they can resell the other coins in yet another way. I only get the mint sets my self which is why I avoided the S this year, debating adding them and would for sure if they were in the mint set

It appears all the S Mint bags are sold out as I can't see them on the US Mint website.

http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wc...tegory=45001

As usual, I'm a day late and a dollar short, but if the mint continues with these low S-mint quarter mintages I'll be buying a bag of 100 of each starting next year. I've never done this but it's time I start.

The 2012-S Acadia (PL5) & Denali (PL9) are still available this morning on the US Mint website at $18.95 each. I surprised they have not sold out like all the others. Tempted to get a few before the sell out and prices really go through the roof.
