I bought this as a Buy it Now on ebay on Dec 18 this year.
The listing was only up for about 5 minutes before I bought it at $59 with Free Shipping.
The obverse is scratched up as someone tried to determine if it was the real deal or not.
It is indeed struck on a dime planchet and I just wanted to see if it was a good buy or not!
What do you think it might be worth?
Any input is appreciated!
I guess the grade on it is not important.

Darryl, what is the weight and have you measured it against a dime.... As for value its whatever someone will pay.... I would be a buyer for sure if it comes up for sale.....

At $59 you cant get hurt at all in my opinion, but the scratches make my eyes water.

Measures up to a dime and weighs 2.07grams. There is no reeding on the edge as its flat and the coin is magnetic.

So far as the scratches are concerned, it seems as if someone who does not understand may have assumed that is was plated, and has made some attempt to prove his theory.

I personally think $60 was a good price, I would have snatched it up if I had seen it.

Whoever scratched it was an idiot, but you certainly aren't. Good deal!

I think you made a good buy. This coin had been put up for auction maybe 8 or 10 times before since the summer. The start price had been as high as maybe $200 and as low as maybe $79. Your auction was the first time he went to $59. The scratch is unfortunate but the price would have been 3x or 4x otherwise.

I would have bought it at $59, WITH the scratches.
