i was traveling over the week between holidays. I went to a flea market in a small town. there was a vendor stand but without the proprietor there. in a glass display cast I saw an acrylic display holder. only about 1/3 of the display was visible, but there were all off center nickels. they were in a circle a lot like the numbers on a clock. all the visible coins were +/- 80% off center. all appeared in very good condition. everyone visible had a readable date. I don't really know how many coins there are - because the entire display was not visible.

can anyone give an approximate value range (per coin) for something like this.

i have a friend going back over the weekend to get more specific details.

thanks.

The display was probably a "clock" of 12 off center error nickels with the off center positions aligned with the 12 hours of a clock. Haven't looked recently what 80% dated off center nickels are going for but probably around $8-$10 each.
