So I already have a small scale that is very accurate up to 2 decimal points. I used this scale for single coins to verify weight.

I'd like a scale that would measure ounces preferably for shipping. First class bubble mailers can be sent up to 13 ounces but I don't have a scale that can handle that weight.

Any ideas. Preferably a scale that can weigh starting from one ounce and up. The more weight it could handle the better.

I was going to suggest they might have one at the F.U.N. show, but remembered you're from the other coast.

Maybe a scale like those used for food My first look would be Harbor Freight, then if I cared more for quality I would look at Northern Tool.

This one will get you to 35oz:

It can display ounces. For $11.99+tax or for even less if you can find a 20% off coupon..

I would check ebay. That is where I got my postal scale which has a capacity of 56lbs x 0.2oz.

Thanks guys.

D0ubl3Eagle, your scale weights from .2 ounces to 56 pounds? So it is probably accurate for items that would be like 1 to 13 ounces? Mind sharing what scale you have?

Scale
I purchased this about year or two ago and I think the guy I bought it from is no longer selling them. Unfortunately, it has no brand name and I no longer have the box so I have no clue who it is by. It weighs in increments of 0.2oz and works just fine for things between 1-13ozs. If the vast majority of what you are shipping weighs less than a pound and you don't mind it being shipped from Hong Kong, a scale like this one may be sufficient. But if you must have something that has a capacity of greater than 11 lbs, this one might fit the bill.

Thanks D0ubl3Eagle, that second one was exactly what I was looking for. And for much cheaper than I expected.

I've got this one arriving on Monday, I like the detachable head option.

No idea of how it does, but it had enough solid review for me to pull the trigger.
