That said, the dollar is going to get stronger.

Only if we print less currency AND raise interest rates. While this IS possible, it does not seem likely in the near future.

As to China *never* being a super power... I bet that the Brits thought that about the US at one time. lol

I certainly can see the dollar working itself out of the toliet even with all the QE.

The dollar is still a king and always will be.

as far as China, my position stands they will not be nor are they a world super power. world markets will prove and back up my statement.

Yup no offense but theres no reason to keep saying that. Nothing in history even remotely suggests thats whats true now will be in the future. The US wont even be a country for ever much less a superpower. At the very least if you are going to keep saying it at least try and support it with more of an argument than because you said so. Superpowers have changed throughout history and always will

oh and another thing-

using Financial media to back up your point is useless and a waste of time. "could", "perhaps" and far off supposed projections are nothing but that. I laugh my head off at all the countless and useless financial media pieces that are constantly wrong.

Also, many of you have a flawed thinking that gold and silver can only go up higher because "things are bad". again thats a common misconception among the general public. Sorry but markets evolve and correlations break apart. But I dont expect a single one of you to grasp that because none of you work on a trading desk nor on a commodity desk.

Until one has exposure to world economies and day to day dealings with financial world markets then none of you have a leg to stand on and will not understand the dynamics of why china will NEVER EVER be a world super power.

I said a statement I believe in and see at work everyday and I dont need to prove anything or debate anything. It is my opinion and I will hold strong to it and again, there is no need for me to debate it or go on and on about it.

Furthermore, this is a forum about coin collecting, not a china forum. As I have said, the china (and even the culture for that matter) elite and wealthy have always had and continue to increase their appetite for precious metals.

Is this sarcasm? I only ask because you have said 15 times throughout this thread that China won't be a super power. And yes, I actually counted. . .

LOL! I wonder if all that self-stroking is causing any wrist or elbow problems. Perhaps a good sports ointment would help.
