Between the 12-13 I bought a bunch, but who knows whether CP oversold them. They love doing that.

hmmm, still deciding if I should pick one (or more) up. Mostly from a resale point of view. I do like them but profit is nice too :) Some of the postal outlets have them on the shelf at $199.95.

it's all depends on where you sell it and how much you paid for it. If you paid 199.95 plus shipping fee and you plan on selling it on ebay, then it is not worth it. ebay fee and paypal fee would eat up most of your margins.

The Home Shopping Network in the U.S. sold out their allotment at 799.95 each.

Is that a typo? 799.95? Wow! Maybe I should get another one.

RP70 ANACS 25th Anniversary Maple Leaf 5-piece Coin Set
Sold 190 of them at 800 bucks.

The video is amazing. He claims you'd have difficulty finding the set at $799 even uncertified.

Haven't heard that kind of hyperbole since the last sale of 2012 pennies on the Canadian shopping channel.

Find your favourite error. Here are some of mine:
Cdn government lost money making these sets
They sold out immediately
Only 1 dollar silver coin the size of a cent ever
Fractional never done before
RP70 cannot be bought anywhere else
RCM could have sold 250,000 sets
A two dollar coin in Canada is called a loonie. So is a one and a five

Post the mistakes/exaggerations that you hear.

I guess ANACS certification gives THEM a $600 price bump.

WOW! (and not in a good way)

If you haven't seen this video then you have to watch it, it actually made me feel sick to my stomach that people can be LIED to so many times in order to make a sale. I don't mind it when people try to make a buck, but in my opinion this is fraud... plain and simple.

FYI- I had to use IE to play the video because Google Chrome didn't work

I need these guys to sell my coins. They probably charge a premium for it. Although I have to say, I like the wood box though. I hope people saw this and jump on ebay and think the $250-$300 is a cheap bargain. LoL
