Awesome coin! I love the seated series. I just got the 1854 arrows and rays half.. I still need this and the rest for a date denomination set! I'd be completely happy with that one! You did good!
I agree with a VF-30 grade!

Yes! This piece has surfaces that look much more in line with what collectors look for in 19th century circulated silver. VF30 would be very fair with claims to 35.

Hopfully not a big scratch I see on the obverse at 2:30 with some smaller ones around 4:00

Otherwise VF25/30 range.

- EXACTLY! Coins like this look great in a Dansco Album, I've see a couple sets, very near complete, Larry Briggs had a beautiful set, many years ago he was selling at an ANA show. I just wish I could have afforded it then, I defintely couldn't today! It was allmost all VF-XF examples with a few AU's nothing below VG. Was missing only 1871-CC, 1873-CC no arrows (off course), 1874-CC and the 1886, if I remember correctly. It was just under $20K and a deal at that. It also had an extra dime page with cool varieties in various lower grades.

High VF, but I think it was cleaned.

certainly somewhere around 1904 on its 50th someone took a rag and water and wiped a little but its not a modern day cleaning with dips or brushing

i also agree with the population of collectors who love choice VF circulated...in these Seated coinage types it adds such an amount of class to the look of the coin

I bet Larry Briggs has some Seated quarters that would blow our minds away
