A goal of 2 oz a week is great! That's 104 oz in a year so you can join the 100 oz club!

I read an article in today's paper called the 52-week money challenge. It is on Facebook too. Each week you deposit that week into a saving plan. For instance, the first week of 2013 you deposit $1, the second week $2, and so on. By the end of the year you will have saved $1378. It might get a bit challenging in the later weeks, so some do it backwards so that in December when there might be more expenses, the savings is lower. The idea is to put something away each week.

Banks used to have Christmas Clubs. The same idea of putting something away each week.

Get into roll hunting part-time and get your silver at face value. I know students in the hobby that do quite well. I average a few ounces a month, using the same $1,000 bank roll over and over.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...
Roll hunting since '77
Dirt fishing since '72
