I need help with the grade and advice on how to address the green stain? Is this coin worth doing some conservation and how should I go about it? Thanks

To me it looks like verdigris. Verdi-care might help.

Verdi care is definitely worth a shot. It should at least halt the progression of the verdigris.

Is that a product or a treatment regiment? If a product, where can I get it? Is it safe for coppers and nickels? Thanks. Any idea on a grade? Thx

Verdi-Care as suggested grade wise AU-53 details corrosion I'm afraid under that green.

Yes, definitely. I have ordered it before and there are excellent instructions with before and after images.

How do you value a coin with a details grade? Is there a site that provides this kind of service or is it based on some sort of formula? I guess there's always auction sale research but that sounds like a chore.
