Sap Moderator Australia 16876 Posts	Posted 01/24/2013 10:39 pm These pieces are actually considered as coins by French collectors, rather than tokens or notgeld, even though they bear a close resemblance to both. They are listed in Krause as a coin, number 877. NGC database page. I don't have a reference picture for comparison, but the "debris" visible inside the numeral "5" makes me think your piece might actually be the 1925/3 overdate. Wow, that's actually good to know, I actually have one of these exact ones from 1922, it was in my familys world hoard that was left to me that I just finally got around to going through.
