I don't think it'll be as much of a hit as the first one, but it'll be a hit.

The Mint is doing everything it can to prevent this coin from being a hit. They have purchase limits and will probably ship the coins at the same time. Remember what made the first coin a hit was the mint splitting the shipment, letting some out and then holding back the bulk of the orders to fix a problem. Also there was no limit on the first coin allowing hoarder to buy up the bulk of the order. Also the first coin had the Colbert bump, free advertising always helps. Not that people are loosing interest but a glow in the dark coin is not big news anymore.

One thing is guaranteed, the first coin should no be an even bigger hit. If more people can buy this coin easily and cheaply they will be looking to buy the first coin to complete their sets.

I think this coin will be most valuable right now just before the release. My feeling is that this coin should sell between $50 - $100 most likely averaging around $50-$60. Can't see it going over $100 unless the Mint screws something up. You could get the current coin for as low as $70. The price seams to be going up now.

Yes, but the first coin was very easy to get 30 of them, just ordering from RCM - just example.
And for the second need to "run" and make an effort in order to buy serious quantity.

Not bad RCM policy for this coin.

Added:
Something about "kid's collection":
bought first coin for my 5yrs old kid, and he was surprised, every evening wanted to look at coin in the dark...but only for the first week. Since then, it just stored on his shelf and he remembers about it only when want to show the coin to one of his friends.
So, actually, he doesn't need the series, one coin is enough. I believe it is relevant to all the kids in his age, and it only us, who want that the children will have all these coins.
Ordered 2 - for him and myself.

Not good really. After fees he makes $39.00. Hardly worth selling for that price. He will make $10 to $15 on this, his shipping is beyond criminal ($20).

So where will all these coins end up? In the hand of collectors? In the hand of hoarder like elkslayer132? Or did the Mint Limit Quantities because retailers ordered the bulk of production? Will be interesting to see.

yes I plan on getting at least 20000 of them because I am a HOARDER then I will decide which collectors can have them. So lets all jump on the hoarder/reseller bandwagon again and let only places like gatewest and CA make any kind of profit off them

20.000, really?

Only in my worst dream I can imagine, that I selling 20000 Dino coins, and they all glowing.

Elkslayer132, why not to became official coin dealer?
I wouldn't mind to buy some missing coin for collection, if the price is reasonable - I believe that the competition is always good for the market.
