What Banks To Use? Please Help!

I am a Canadian coin collector and, I often visit my local banks and purchase some coins for hunting. I have found some rare pennies but, NO SILVER.

After reading the CRH topic on this website, I have gotten very excited about US half dollar searching. Luckily, my dad and I are traveling to the US soon and, I plan to get some halves.

I would greatly appreciate any help from experienced US half hunters to answer the following questions:

1. Which banks are the best for haves?
2. Do you have to order them? If so, how long does it take?
3. Do some banks require a membership to withdraw coins?
4. Is there a fee for sending the coins back?
5. Any other helpful hints and tricks?

NOTE: I am not asking you to give away any trade secrets but, I would love some general help. THANKS!

The only ones I can help with are #3 and #4. Some banks do require a membership, but most will be happy to give you coins even if you don't bank there. After all, you could become a regular customer. However, if they need to make a special order, they might be more likely to require a membership.
For #4 - No, they don't. Not that I know of, anyway. If your bank requires you to pay them to give them money, I would suggest finding a different bank. ;)

Thanks oddcoins. Some of the banks in Canada require you to pay a fee for depositing ROLLED coins.
