Found this bad boy while searching through the drawers at work yesterday evening. I did a little jig when I found it!

Any thoughts as to grade and rarity of plate combo? Not sure where such a refernce can be found online, though my local bookstore has a book on these I'm thinking of picking up now. I'm thinking XF45- AU55 on grade but I could be wrong.

Thanks for looking all!

Congrats on finding a web note so late in the game.

The following information is taken from my signed copy of "The Standard Handbook of $1 Web-Fed Test Notes - 1988A, 1993, 1995 - Second Edition" By Bob Kvederas Jr. & Bob Kvederas Sr.

(I'm only listing information on your note run)

Page #46 ~ Series 1988A BLOCK E - K
Serial Number Ranges E51200001K - E576000000K RUN 9
Total Note Production - RUN 9 = 6,400,000
Plate Combinations - RUN 9 = 3-2,4-4,4-6,5-6,8-6,8-8

Page #47 ~ Series 1988A Price Guide E - K
BLOCK E-K RUN 9 COMBO
Fine $4.00
XF $15.00
UNC $50.00

[hope this helps]

quick note; I did add spaces between the line information to make it easier to understand and after posting reply, notice CCF had deleted most of the spaces and grouped everything together.

ex: ***BLOCK (space) E(space)-(space)K (2 spaces) RUN (space)9 (2 spaces)COMBO***

[hope the edited post doesn't confuse you]

That absolutely helps me. Exactly the information I was looking for. Thank you so much Broken-coin. It does make sense even without the spaces. I'm pretty sure that was the book I was about to pick up. You have a signed copy?
I was shocked to find it and in such great shape. I had given up hope of ever finding one in circulation, since I've been searching through 50k FV each month for a while and never had one come my way. Never lose hope I guess.

Congrats Goldenchest on the find!
Heard about WEB notes before but still surprising to see that it'd be worth 15-20 bucks.
Might have passed a few myself but never knew, will keep an eye out now.

Nice find! I had given up looking for them a half dozen years ago. Now I'll start watching for another 10 years and not find one. :-)

Nice find. Is it possible to have 1988A and not a web note? I found one in circulation but does not have all the detail as a webnote.

O.K. I give up..

What is a 'web' note?

I don't collect U.S. paper so, I have no idea what a web note is.
