I'd long wanted one of these, my dad had one in the early sixties, and this one was advertised as a medallion. Without showing the blades, which I doubt the vendor realised existed. And I was the sole bidder.
Very very cool! I have a 1949 coin knife too, but not like that... It's just a folding knife with a loop on the end with a 1949 bird farthing in it.. I like yours more! Hidden blades! I agree.. I want one to come out in a coin I love, even if its a fake coin! Actually here's a pic of my "coin knife", I just happened to have a few on my phone. On the blade it says "Richards Sheffield England, with a lamppost... It's kinda neat.. But again I like yours more!
