I saw it in person at a CP outlet the other day, it looks really nice in person!

Thanks for the pic taro-chan.
That pic convinced me to finally break down and buy it.
Only 281 left on mint.ca.
Can't wait to see get this one in hand.

Hope you like it! I know I do. Just keep in mind that there are some odd angles on this coin.

I'm guessing you mean the gilding?
I've read that some think it's too dark when you look at it in certain angles?
This is going to be displayed with my fractional set and hopefully the 5oz. eventually.
Hating the RCM for coming out with so many coins I want at the same time.......LOL.

LOL- me too. I feel like you can't have the 5 oz without the fractional and vise versa... this one is a part of that series as well so its a must have. The only problem is that the Platinum is part of this series as well, but for the sake of financial stability I'm going to pretend that it isn't.

You show me yours and I will show you mine. Got mine today. Definitely a keeper. A lot of people say that this one is expensive. It is at the same price point as the two loons. Don't wait until it's sold out.

I think getting both the fractional set and this coin was the way to go ! If only I could afford the 5oz coin as well !

I'm in the same boat bigspender. Too many coins I want in one release.
wettld2 made a good point, you'd still need the platinum to complete the set and that's not gonna happen for me. I just tell myself they're silver maple leaf anniversary coins, not platinum maple leaf anniversary coins and that makes me feel better......

@tocoins:

what is the finish of the Maple Leaf itself - is it "frost" or "mirrored"?
