I thought I would start this post to receive your feedback.
I ordered the $20 for $20 from the mint.
The problem is,the coin was shipped September 30th.
It's still not in my mailbox yet.Have any of you guys ever waited this long for a coin(s) to get to you?
Previous orders from the mint have NEVER taken this long.
Almost a month.Please respond. THANK YOU.

Check the Mint Web site to find out when your order was shipped , You may have ordered it a month ago but it might still not be shipped .

When coins are in high demand, like the $20 for $20 coin, there can be delays in shipping. As other members are suggesting, you would be best to check your order online or speak to one of our reps by phone - the numbers are listed below:

Thank you.I guess I'll give them a call.
As I mentioned in my first post,the order was shipped from the mint September 30th.(My visa was billed and already paid)(Almost a month.) I guess I'll have to give them a call.

I'm currently experiencing a worrying issue with the RCM. I susbcribed to the O CANADA half once silver coin. I received the first one no problem (the Inukshuk). Different story for the Beaver. It says in my profile that the coin was shipped on Feb 11 via lettermail. My credit card got charged the day after. We are now Feb 25th and still no coin. I called twice and the representatives told me 2 different stories. The first one was that the beaver is actually backordered - even though there is no notice at all on the website. The second rep told me to wait longer and that Canada post can start an investigation only after 30 days... Anybody experienced this before? They are in Ottawa and I'm in Toronto. Should take a few days max to get here.... I ordered a bunch of coins with them before and this is the first time this happens. Frustrating.... |

Don't worry if it gets lost in the mail, they'll fix it. It's true, they need to wait a certain amount of days to open a case with Canadapost.

I'm just worried that I paid 40 bucks for nothing now :( I never had any issues with them and I got a bunch of coins in the past. I hope they have a way to confirm that it was never delivered. I understand that from their point of view, they may think that I'm trying to get a second coin for free or something.... :(

The longest I have waited is 20 calendar days for my 1812 loonies to be shipped from Ottawa to Toronto.
I also called them after waiting for 2 weeks and the Mint told me that I have to wait for 30 days, and if I still haven't received my coins, then they will send me some form to sigh (to officially declared that I haven't received the coin) and they will start the investigation.

after 30 days they will send a trace letter,if you ask them to.then if you fax it back to them they will find it, or refund you.
