I sold a similar coin to someone and they used Verdicare on it. Does this look like a good candidate for conservation?

Verdicare may help, but I think that it looks quite OK as it is.

Maybe a soak in acetone and a final application of Verdi-Care to stop any further encroachment of verdigris.

At that price, it can't hurt.

Yes, I am wondering why nobody else bid on this coin, it looks good to me. I see light verdigris that can be addressed with Verdicare. I tend to avoid acetone with coppers even though I have used it on coppers and not have them discolor. I read this thing that acetone reacts with copper with the presence of light so it is best to soak it in the dark. Generally I think distilled water is best with coppers.
