I will return if it is not doing well. Lose nothing.

The alternative will be to keep it until the third, fourth or fifth (how many will there be?) coin has been released. But I doubt it will appreciate as much as Dino I. It's almost always the case that the first coin of a series will be the most sought-after.

It's completely insane to see how much dino the people buy thinkink about making money... The market will be overblown by seller... Good luck if this one hits 50$... With ebay fees and paypal, it's a waste of time....

Still a 20% profit. Might not be worth the effort but still not a loss and 20% is a good return. You buy 10 coins, $350 total, and get a $80 return. You on the other hand invest $4000 in a GIC at 2% and make the same money. Its a safe bet either way but you have the potential to make much more profit on the coins. The GIC is a guaranteed fixed rate. I'll take the coins and I expect the selling price to be closer to $60-$70.

Well, with this amount, you can buy 10 shares of Coca-cola (almost), you get a dividend rate of 2.6% and you can be sure in 5-10 years, you capital will almost double and you will still get a dividend which will increase too.. But trying to get rich buying GIC is also a waste of time...

I don't foresee Coke breaking $80 this year let alone $130 in 10 years. As for the dividend, I'm not hanging around for a 2.6% return. Look at BCE, better growth rate and higher yield rate. I have money there too. But that's got nothing to do with coins and we are off topic now. Need an investment forum for this kind of talk. Need to look at it this way. My father had 5 $20 for $20 coins. I helped him to sell them on ebay and made a profit of $7 a coin. He put the money into the first Dino coin and Bought 4 coins. He sold those coins for $85 after fees. That's $340. He turned $100 into $340 in less than a year and put the money in SMLs. That's Free money and I would rather have SMLs than $20 for $20 coins. It takes me 1/2 a month to generate $340 in extra income for spending on coins. Flipping coins is an easy way to increase your collection.

I think thats a very good way to look at it. As someone who is just getting into trying the flipping part of the hobby.. it makes perfect sense to me!

How do some of the sellers on ebay have the coin in hand already ready to ship?

Awesome D0oby Rak, just bought 10 more! Thanks for sharing this info!
On a side note, the GITD2 isn't nearly as nice looking as GITD1 was. Hopefully this will be a fruitful endeavor for all of us.
