One of my prettier lady's. This one was reverse slabbed and very nice. Some toning on the reverse. You Vs. PCGS. What's your take? Thanks for playing.

Looks mint state with a solid strike (normal for an 1882-S). Cheek is smooth with just a few very shallow luster grazes. Fields have hazy areas and a couple spots but no serious marks. I'd say it's solid for MS-64 and possible for MS-65.

The toning speaks for the coin's originality but really isn't spectacular enough to add extra value. Toning fans pay big bucks for the bright rainbow Morgans.

I would go along with MS64+

I too would pay extra for a nicely toned Morgan!

I'm having a hard time capturing the tone in a slab. It looks much better in hand.

I'm in with the 64 crowd. And this type of toning is very hard to capture in a picture....I bet it has a nice rainbow effect.

Wow, that toning is amazing! Absolutely beautiful!
I think this one has a real shot as being a 65... I definitely wouldn't say any lower than 64.
