It's unfortunate that we all have to find out the release this way. Thanks RCM police!

Ditto Marty's remarks--most appreciated! Looks as though there is some disagreement over whether the Mallard is intended to be part of the Birds of Canada series, but I certainly think it is. A so-called 25 cent coin, colored bird. And certainly the robin is. So, guess I will be buying them!

wow 14.95 for 1 2013 50 cent piece, I think the penny pricing has gone to their heads. Let's charge whatever we like ..someone will buy it.

You know, I mostly like circulation coins, but that dragonfly is intriguing and I really fear I may succumb to its charms! LOL

Monthly releases now...
The more often the RCM does this the less I see older members post on these new threads. I guess new collectors are enough to sustain the RCM's new release schedule.

Just from a B&W picture I like that Dragonfly!
With the hologram, this one's going to be a keeper.
Also looking forward to see the new Go7 coin.
From the beginning, I thought the Franz Johnston (guardian of the gorge) coin had the potential to be the best of the bunch.

$14.95 for one 50 cent coin with no mintage limit? So the Mint thinks if people can pay ten bucks for a roll of pennies, people will buy this as well?
Okay, people are willing to pay more for those pennies on ebay. The Mint wins again.

Yes, but with that $14.95 you get the coin and a swatch of tartan fabric in a card who wouldn't pay that,.

I'll pass on this one for sure
