Got two sets of these from an ebay seller in Vancouver and while they are great, the dollar coins certainly are the poorer of the set. The quarters are of high quality, but the dollars seem a little marked and have what looks like red die marks from the maple leaf on the package on parks of the surface.

Several European countries began minting the euro coinage in 1999. Some of those countries dated them all 2002 (official introduction date), while some did put the actual minting year on them (France, for example).
