I think the first person to make a guess at "never" should be declared the winner.

Again, I think a CCF joint project would be a good idea. But we need the expertise from someone in the printing business. I have had a reference book published, but this does not make me knowledgeable in the area of printing. It would be nice if some CCF member is experienced in this field.

I was talking to a dealer at a show, and he said that Dansco has officially said that they will not be making a new 7070.
Rest in Peace

Of course, it would be nice to confirm from another source or the horse's mouth...

I'm not very active on the forums of late, but I'm still around! I've been working on my stamps and put coins on hold for a while. I dropped back in when I heard that Dansco was reprinting some 7070 albums. Who would have thunk it?

In honor of this auspicious occasion, here is the current status of my 7070 album:

Yup. I need a few big shinies, but there is a little shiny that wouldn't make a bad Christmas present. Maybe I can make that work!

Hmmmm.... Technically the contest was asking for the month and year that the "revised" 7070 will finally be available for purchase. If this "new" version is exactly the same as the previous one, maybe my guess of "never" is correct after all...

I just got my 7070 from Desert Dansco in the mail yesterday. Definitely the same ol' version (not that I'm complaining; I'm happy to finally have one at a reasonable price), so maybe my contest can live on waiting for an actual update.... until forever-never!
