You are looking at 2 very similarly, but not equally TPG graded large cents. Which one is TPG graded higher and guess the TPG grades?

TPG grades will be announced Sunday evening 3/19/2017 after 4pm.

Thread participants will calculate and designate the winner by consensus and acclamation on this thread. (In other words, I am too lazy to calculate the winner)

Prize for the winner will be a priceless, dateless, honestly and lovingly circulated Buffalo nickel! Ooooohhhhh!

Bonus prize will be awarded to whoever gets the two grades exactly. A priceless, and also dateless 50 off-center struck Lincoln (memorial) cent ! Ooooohhhhh!

Ties will go to the person who guessed first on this thread. If the post is modified, the date and time of last guess post alteration supercedes earlier position on the thread.

Pick:

Higher graded coin (2 points),

Must be closest to the actual grade in PCGS grade increments (1 point per increment), including + designations.

CAC or not CAC (1 point).

Color Designation (1 point)

Details or not details (+ or -1 point).

Details type category (+ or -1 point for each category).

Grade guess may go over or under with no penalty.

Rules may be further refined by popular demand. Pics are the best I can get, and may not be up to your standards.

bonum fortuna...

Not knowing anything about large cents at all, I'll give it a shot. (I also PMed you a question about a rotated die 1854!)

Higher graded coin (2 points),
--- Coin one is higher graded
Must be closest to the actual grade in PCGS grade increments (1 point per increment), including + designations.
--- Coin one: MS64, Coin two: MS62
CAC or not CAC (1 point).
--- Eh, I don't know. CAC em both!
Color Designation (1 point)
--- Coin one: BN, Coin two: RB
Details or not details (+ or -1 point).
--- No details.
Details type category (+ or -1 point for each category).
--- Ibid.

[edit] Putting all of it together in one spot:
1855 upright 5 MS64 BN CAC
1856 slanted 5 MS62 RB CAC

Thank you for playing. Preliminarily it seems like mcshilling is the winner. Please check if I missed someone who was closer.

Congratulations!

Once the winner is determined and finalized, pm me and let me know where to send your prize.
