I was one that was waiting but have now decided to build a slabbed version. I guess I'm glad it took so long. Less raw coins to send in for grading.

Well, it looks like all guesses ending in 2013 were wrong. Anyone want to guess 2025 as the year?

It doesn't make since why they would do this to what is probably their most popular album when they can update other albums even faster? It doesn't make business since.
I do think it will come out sometime. When though is anyone's guess.

I also got the following email response from DanscoAlbumStore.com: "Hello Steve, I have not heard any release date....Its been about 3 years so I really think they will delay this until they print the new Roosevelt dime Page and a few Silver Eagle Pages. I personally don't expect it until the end of this year. Time will tell...I will add you to my list to contact once we hear something. Thank you for your email and if you have any other questions feel free to reply to this message." |

CONTEST UPDATE - NOW WITH PRIZES!
In order to make things more interesting, I'm adding actual prizes to the contest. It won't be anything spectacular, but I'll send a few US Type coins (including at least one piece of silver) to get a new 7070 album started to the winner. I'll monitor guesses by month and year. Here are the open valid guesses that were not duplicates and have not passed:

Mods, could you please edit the topic of this thread to say "Dansco 7070 Release (now with prizes!)"
If it's not too much trouble, it would be great to put the following at the bottom of my original post: "UPDATE: See page 3 for prize information."
