The delays equals the Mint trying to manipulate the interest in this coin and creating a frenzy over it.

sileroid I'm getting 6 maybe more if dragonfly actualy is delayed..
elkslayer I'm not sure what your rep said was the truth =/ they never only make one.. and prototype don't get made 2 weeks before release date, more like 6 month before hand since a product manager from the mint told me that.

I'm curious... how was the interest for the glass ladybug when it first came out? Was it an automatic sell out or did it take time to sell out?

Interesting. I guess the dragonfly is under different circumstances though and has the potential to be a hot item still depending mostly on the quality and uniqueness of the hologram technology. Will be interesting when people start posting real life pictures of it. Dumb the mint doesn't do that themselves

Quote: I'm curious... how was the interest for the glass ladybug when it first came out? Was it an automatic sell out or did it take time to sell out? search in forum for that post. Really interesting. If I remember, the mintage was 5.000 - this is one of the factors that the coin has been sold out quickly. And affordable price for "innovation".

Maybe elkslayer132 was referring to a dragonfly #2 having a prototype destroyed.
