What The Heck Happened To This Nickel?

randomasu Valued Member Canada 53 Posts	Posted 03/08/2013 4:42 pm A friend asked if I wanted this 'garbage nickel' today. Of course I said yes. :) It is obviously stamped off center to begin with, BUT: on the queen side, you can plainly see a reverse image of a 1982 penny and on the beaver side you plainly see a reverse image of a 1993 penny. It is slightly bent, but otherwise the right thickness all the way around. How would something like this even happen? And is it 'garbage'? Report this Post to the Staff
