hi all could someone tell me more about this item as I have no idea havnt looked at coin like this before my son wants to buy it value condition or grade and rarety please we have no book with this in it ebay no 380594343218

Looks like a poorly cast counterfeit to me.
Maybe one of the mods can move this to the world coin forum, where a lot more 8 reales experts can comment on it.

I agree it looks rather Dodgy, he claims its Peru Mint, yet is only has ME and not LIME, I cant actually find any with ME mintmark, the old addage if it looks to good to be true, it probably is!

Agree the coin doesn't look quite right (I certainly am NOT an expert) but the seller has 100% positive feedback.

Real (excuse the pun) or not the imprint condition is all important...this one sucks...avoid.
