Never had problems before and have done lots of presales not a big deal to refund people's money if they wish and have not ever been asked to refund any money. Nobody here knows when they will ship for certain

Anyone here get call from CP about your butterfly order.
I got 2 call from POs this afternoon to confirm they success to place my order.
But shipping date is Apr 30th instead of 9th.

They called you to 'confirm' your order was OK? Seems like that is odd - that they'd be calling everyone just to confirm orders?

I guess it's all depend on how much emphasis you put onto when place your order. Not from CP but I've received confirmation call from RCM rep for certain orders when I repeat/emphasize that I want to make sure my order is going through and approved. |

Wow. Venetian Glass Butterfly 3 and a half stars. 15 reviews. I have not red it yet but I bet people gave it 1 - 3 stars because they missed out. I get that I would be mad but why are they taking it out on the coin. They should call the Mint and complain or give THEM a bad review. Not the coin. If I missed out I would still have given it a 5 star because it was nice. I would have added disappointed because I missed out but it would not affect my review. Same as the Canopy. One 1 star review bring it down to 4 stars with 3 other 5 stars.

Anyone know the official launch date? Is it April 9th? I heard April 2nd at another discussion, but that sounds a bit early. I wouldn't doubt if this coin gets released earlier than expected to the public; might be a good excuse to explain why they are sold out before they are released... I can see it now...add cart... 5 minutes later....awaiting stock!

The coins will be available to general public to order on April 2nd. On April 9th is when they will be available to purchase at Canada Post and other locations.

@allspice - There are none left so I do not see why they would place orders at the mint. I have not been to the mint on release of a coin but if there were to be a line up it would be April, 9th ship date or supposedly which is the date I think if they do put any in the boutique it would be their. Could be the 24th because in the E-mail it said the 24th. Going back to the two dates confusion.

Thanks Tristen. The dates sound a bit confusing. I would imagine the Mint will have a certain number of coins available at their boutiques for their regular, loyal customers. April 9th (ship date) tends to make more sense than standing in line a week earlier just to place an order...

Well I am hoping my ordered will be one of the first shipped. Ordered quite early in the morning. Don't know if that makes a difference.
